550 Series Belt Driven Linear Actuator
The Lintech 550 Series linear actuators are built to handle large loads at very high speeds. These actuators feature a low-friction, preloaded recirculating linear ball bearing system that travels along a single precision-ground square rail. The rail is mounted to a precision-machined aluminum base, providing rigid support throughout the entire travel range. The load is mounted on a precision-machined aluminum carriage with integrated slots, allowing for secure attachment of the user load via base mounting brackets. The drive system uses dual pulleys and a steel-reinforced polyurethane belt, delivering 8.071 inches (205 mm) of linear movement per revolution of the input shaft. The belt also doubles as a protective cover, preventing debris from entering the bearings and rail. A simple belt tensioning system ensures easy user adjustments for optimal performance.

Coupling Options
LinTech offers three types of couplings for mounting motors to positioning tables. These couplings help compensate for misalignment between the motor shaft and screw shaft extension, ensuring smooth operation when properly used. To maintain performance, the motor’s output torque should not exceed the coupling's maximum capacity. Applications with high acceleration, large back-driving loads, high-torque output motors, or servo motors may require couplings with higher torque capacity.
