The FREEe™ linear encoder platform from KappaSense is designed to eliminate one of the most common failure points in motion systems — moving cables. Its innovative passive readhead weighs only 3 grams and requires no electrical connection or cable routing along the moving axis. All encoder wiring is static and connects to the scale, significantly improving long-term system reliability.
Ideal for applications requiring high durability and wide mechanical tolerances, FREEe™ encoders offer immunity to environmental contaminants, vibration, and magnetic interference.
