The ATR is another revolutionary direct drive motor from Akribis Systems. The patent-pending design provides the motor with super high torque and low rotor inertia at the same time.
In our ATR design, we replaced the conventional rotor back iron with another set of coils. The removal of the back iron significantly reduced the rotor inertia. And the additional inner coils result in much higher torque output. These combined features give ATR unparalleled dynamic performance.
