Ogura’s MZS Series Electromagnetic Single-Position Tooth Clutches are designed for applications requiring precise, repeatable positioning with controlled engagement points. The clutch uses a toothed engagement mechanism that allows torque to be transmitted through interlocking teeth, eliminating slip once engaged.

Unlike multi-position tooth clutches, the MZS series engages at a fixed position, making it suitable for applications where alignment accuracy is critical. Engagement occurs when the teeth align at the predefined position, ensuring consistent indexing performance. The compact design supports integration into machinery where space and positioning accuracy are both important.

The MZS series is suited for systems requiring synchronized motion with repeatable stop/start positioning.
