Ogura’s PHT Series Permanent-Magnet Brakes are designed for ultra-compact applications requiring holding torque without continuous power input. These brakes use permanent magnets to generate braking force, eliminating the need for electrical power to maintain holding torque. This makes them suitable for systems where energy efficiency and fail-safe holding are required.

The PHT series supports high-speed operation in smaller torque ranges, with models capable of running up to 10,000 RPM. The compact construction allows integration into small motors, precision instruments, and space-constrained assemblies.
