PMB Series Electromagnetic / Permanent-Magnet Brakes

Sample image only. Product may differ
Ogura’s PMB Series Electromagnetic / Permanent-Magnet Brakes are designed for compact systems requiring reliable holding torque with fail-safe characteristics. The brake uses a permanent magnet to provide holding force when power is removed, and an electromagnetic coil to release the brake during operation. This ensures consistent holding without continuous power consumption.
The PMB series is optimized for high-speed applications, with models capable of operating up to 10,000 RPM. Its compact construction allows integration into space-constrained assemblies, including small motors and precision equipment. The series operates on 24 VDC and supports a range of shaft sizes, making it suitable for a variety of light to mid-duty applications.
