The GAM SKB Series Indirect Drive Safety Couplings are designed to protect mechanical systems by disengaging at a preset torque level during overload conditions. These couplings feature a self-centering conical hub connection and an integrated bearing to support pulleys, gears, or sprockets. Upon disengagement, the coupling automatically re-engages at a single point per revolution, maintaining the drive's reference position. The SKB Series offers adjustable disengagement torque settings and is suitable for applications requiring high axial and radial load support.

SKB Series couplings are utilized in systems where indirect drives are employed, such as in pulley, gear, or sprocket applications. They are suitable for environments where overload protection and precise re-engagement are critical.

SKB Key Features:

  • Adjustable disengagement torque
  • Self-centering conical hub connection
  • Integrated bearing for high axial and radial load support
  • Automatic single-point re-engagement per revolution
  • Steel hubs and safety elements
  • Supports pulleys, gears, or sprockets
