Classic 2 Parallel SoftGripper

Sample image only. Product may differ
The Two Finger Parallel SoftGripper is a pneumatically actuated, compliant robotic gripper designed for handling delicate, irregular, or deformable products. It uses soft elastomer fingers that close in a parallel motion under compressed air. The flexible structure adapts to product geometry, distributing contact forces over a larger surface area.
The gripping principle is based on internal air chambers within molded silicone fingers. When pressurized, the chambers deform the finger structure inward, producing a controlled gripping motion.
This design reduces point loading and supports hygienic handling in sensitive production environments.

Typical Objects for Two-Finger Version
This gripper is specified for small, structured parts and packaged items, such as chocolates, morsels, chewing gum, screws, and batteries. The 5 N per finger gripping force and object weight limit of 300 g define its safe operating envelope.

Application Fit
- Confectionery handling
- Small packaged goods
- Lightweight mechanical components
- Structured parts requiring stable two-point contact
Advantages Over Rigid Parallel Grippers
- Reduced product deformation
- Improved handling of irregular shapes
- Lower mechanical complexity at contact surface
- No exposed metal joints in contact zone
- Adaptation to surface geometry
This makes it appropriate for hygienic production environments where cleanability and gentle handling are required.
