VLH-35 Hollow Shaft Rotary Encoder
The VLH-35 Absolute Rotary Encoder is a high-precision instrument designed for demanding industrial environments. It features a contactless design, eliminating the need for bearings and ensuring a long operational life. The encoder boasts a high resolution of 17-19 bits and an accuracy of ±0.05°, making it ideal for applications requiring precise measurement.
Mechanically, the VLH-35 is compact and lightweight, with an outer diameter of 35 mm, an inner diameter of 11 mm, and a height of 6 mm, weighing just 5.5 grams. Constructed from FR4 material, it is robust and suitable for challenging conditions. The encoder's rotor inertia is 1,930 gr·mm², and it has an allowable mounting eccentricity and axial tolerance, ensuring stable installation and operation.
Electrically, the VLH-35 operates with a supply voltage of less than 82 mA, featuring SSi and BiSS interfaces, binary output code, and differential RS-422 serial output. Its clock frequency ranges from 0.1 to 1 MHz, with a position update rate of 35 kHz.
Environmentally, the VLH-35 is designed to perform reliably in a wide temperature range of -25°C to +105°C. It is highly resistant to EMI, RFI, and magnetic fields, and compliant with IEC 6100-6-2, IEC 6100-6-4 EMC standards. The encoder can endure significant shock and vibration, and offers an IP 40 protection rating, making it an excellent choice for industrial settings where precision and durability are essential.
