The VLS-100 absolute rotary encoder by Netzer Precision is a high-precision, frameless position sensor designed for demanding motion control applications. It features 17 to 22-bit resolution with ±0.008° accuracy, delivering precise absolute position feedback for robotics, automation, and industrial systems. With a 100 mm outer diameter and 40 mm inner diameter, it integrates easily into systems requiring a compact yet robust encoder. Its bearing-less, non-contact design eliminates mechanical wear, ensuring long-term reliability with minimal maintenance.
Designed for harsh environments, the VLS-100 operates within a -40°C to +105°C temperature range and withstands shock, vibration, EMI, and RFI, maintaining stable performance in extreme conditions. It supports speeds up to 6,000 rpm, runs on a 5V supply, and utilizes SSi and BiSS-C digital interfaces for seamless integration into modern control systems.
