The WPG Series Servo-Electric Grippers from Weiss Robotics are high-performance, universal gripper modules designed for precise, reliable part handling in industrial automation. Built with a powerful servo drive, these grippers deliver controlled gripping force up to 300N and a wide stroke of up to 120mm, all within a compact and robust design.
The WPG Series offers integrated part detection and process monitoring for enhanced reliability. Easy configuration is available through a standard web browser interface, with ready-made integration solutions for leading robot brands. The grippers are engineered for demanding environments, featuring IP54-rated sealed electronics and double-bearing base jaws.
Gripper fingers are not included with the gripping module. Please select the gripper configuration that includes the FINGERKIT package if needed. The FINGERKIT System is a modular construction kit designed for creating custom gripper fingers using standard components.
It provides a basic selection of parts to simplify the design and assembly of application-specific gripper fingers. It is available in 16 and 20 piece configurations depending on the gripping module selected.
The WPG Series features an integrated, modular gripper controller with direct network connectivity. Its functions can be easily adapted to system requirements through optional license upgrades.
Parameterization and diagnostics are handled conveniently via any web browser—giving you direct, software-free access to the gripping process at all times.
The WPG is designed for robot-assisted handling and supports WEISS ROBOTICS GRIPLINK technology. Proven GRIPLINK plug-ins allow direct control of the gripper from your robot application.
For advanced setups, multiple WPG grippers and GRIPLINK controllers can be combined into a virtual GRIPLINK network—providing a pre-certified solution that simplifies integration, testing, and setup.
With large stroke, adjustable gripping force, web-based setup, and GRIPLINK support for easy integration.
