LowBoy Linear Actuators
LowBoy Linear Actuators offer precise, modular electromechanical positioning systems housed within a compact aluminum chassis. Available with three distinct drive mechanisms, these actuators allow you to select the perfect balance of cost and performance for your needs.
Drive Options for Every Requirement:
- Precision Ball Screw – Ideal for high-precision applications.
- Air-core Linear Motor – Offers high speed and minimal heat generation.
- Iron-core Linear Motor – Provides maximum force and performance.
Performance and Precision:
- Linear Motor Models: Achieve bi-directional repeatabilities of ±0.5 µm.
- Ball Screw Models: Feature repeatabilities of ±5 µm.
- All models include integrated position feedback devices for precise closed-loop control.
Powerful and Adaptable:
- Available in lengths up to 1,600 mm.
- Capable of exerting continuous linear forces up to 1,540 N, depending on the chosen drive.
Durable and Compact Design:
- Choose between two low-profile chassis: 80 mm high by 120 mm wide (Light version) or 80 mm high by 180 mm wide (Medium version).
- Both designs incorporate an integrated cover to shield the drive mechanism from contaminants.
Seamless Integration:
Their streamlined design ensures easy bolt-on integration for any machine requiring reliable and accurate positioning.
