Corporate Social Responsibility Mission Statement
To be directly involved in building the knowledge and well-being of our people, our communities, our industry and our environment.
Electromate strives to manage our business and operations with Corporate Social Responsibility in mind at all times.
We accomplish this by:

Corporate Philanthropy is the act of a corporation or business promoting the welfare of others, generally through charitable donations of funds or time. At Electromate, charitable donations take the form of employee Donation Matching gifts, which means that if an employee donates to a registered charity or nonprofit organization, Electromate will donate money to the same nonprofit according to a discretionary match ratio.
Good citizenship is good business and we want to demonstrate our responsibility to society through our actions in supporting, learning from and enhancing our community. This applies not only to those communities in which we live and do business, but globally to communities in need.
At Electromate, we focus on select non-profits based on employee feedback and Management support. This allows us to build meaningful partnerships and directly address the most important needs of each organization.
Community Programs
We are a proud past supporter of WE.org, an international charity and educational partner. Their organization is unique among Canadian charities in that it operates collaborative programs both domestically and internationally.
WE Charity is a movement that brings people together and gives them the tools to change the world. Their slogan is "Making doing good, doable".
Electromate has pledged to fund the building of one school per year in Rongena, Kenya through WE.org.

Corporate Community Support
Electromate is passionate about inspiring its employees to be actively involved in the communities in which we live and work. We encourage our employees to make a positive social impact by donating some of their time to volunteering. Electromate supports this initiative by way of our Volunteer Time Off Policy.
Culture Committee
Electromate has a Culture Committee that meets regularly and oversees our volunteer and community support efforts. We support our chosen non-profits financially, with volunteer hours, and with donation drives. The Culture Committee also oversees the annual company food drive in the Fall to support our local communities.
Community
Electromate strives to act as a good citizen partner in our community, and will work with the surrounding community in an open and collaborative fashion, providing the maximum benefit possible.
Environment Health & Safety
Electromate is committed to the protection of the environment, and will ensure that the activities of our organization are conducted in an environmentally friendly manner.
Electromate is vitally interested in the ongoing health and safety of our staff, clients, visitors and the public at large, and will work to ensure that our workplace meets or exceeds all applicable requirements under health and safety legislation.
