AKD2G Servo Drive
The AKD2G servo drive from Kollmorgen offers strong power density and control. Kollmorgen introduces the AKD2G 24A 480 VAC servo drive, suitable for both single and multi-axis machinery in labeling, robotics, antenna positioning, packaging, and material handling.
The AKD2G 24A drive is highly configurable with safety options and an SD card parameter for data backup. It uses the same graphical interface as the AKD2G family and has an increased power output. The drive can synchronize motors over different fieldbuses and delivers 3x the continuous current during peak operations for 5 seconds. Its 24-amp performance avoids the need for using different drives. Users can adjust settings like safety levels, I/O, feedback, and fieldbus. It also has a secondary holding brake, simplified feedback wiring, dual-axis, expandable I/O, removable memory, dual-channel STO, and a graphic display on the drive itself.
