VLP-140 Encoder

The VLP-140 Absolute Rotary Encoder is engineered for precision, providing 19-21 bit resolution and a nominal accuracy of ±0.006°. Its design includes a hollow floating shaft without bearing contacts, ensuring durability. The encoder, with a 140 mm outer diameter, 90 mm inner diameter, and 8 mm height, weighs 80 grams.

Made from FR4 material, it functions in a temperature range of -40°C to +105°C and is resilient against shock and vibration. It meets IEC 6100-6-2 and IEC 6100-6-4 EMC standards and includes SSi/BiSS-C communication, binary output, and RS-422 serial output. With a supply voltage of 5V ±5% and a current consumption of about 100 mA, the VLP-140 is a reliable choice for applications requiring high precision in challenging electromagnetic conditions.
