VLP-170 Hollow Shaft Rotary Encoder
The VLP-170 Absolute Rotary Encoder delivers high precision with a 19-21 bit resolution and an extended accuracy of ±0.006°. This device features a hollow floating shaft and lacks bearing contacts, enhancing its durability. With a 170 mm outer diameter, 110 mm inner diameter, and an 8 mm height, it weighs 110 grams.
The encoder, made from FR4 material, operates in temperatures from -40°C to +105°C and resists significant shock and vibration. It complies with IEC 6100-6-2, IEC 6100-6-4 EMC standards, and offers SSi/BiSS-C communication, binary output, and RS-422 serial output. The VLP-170, functioning on a 5V ±5% voltage with a 90 mA current consumption, is suitable for precise operations in challenging electromagnetic conditions.
