Analog Servo Drive Amplifiers
Advanced Motion Controls' family of brush & brushless Analog Servo Drives & Motors provides unparalleled benefits in both simplicity and performance. Drive setup and operation is more straightforward than digital drives, while achieving higher bandwidth and faster response times at a lower cost. Analog drive technology has been a staple of servo system solutions since day one, and our years of experience in building the highest quality products has created a solid and continuously improving selection of analog drives. A variety of command options, including ±10V analog, PWM and Direction, dual Sine wave, and specialized electric vehicle commands make the Advanced Motion Controls' family of brush & brushless analog servo drives your best choice for proven servo solutions.
All AMC's Analog Servo Drives feature:
- Built-in hardware protection – Over Current, Over Voltage, Over Temperature, Short Circuit
- DIP Switches and Potentiometers for loop tuning, current limit adjustments, and drive configuration
- Standard models for both brushed and brushless motor varieties
- Velocity feedback provided by incremental encoder, Hall Sensors, or tachometer
- Analog Position Loop control available
- Optical Isolation between high and low power signals standard on most models
- Current, Velocity, and Fault Monitor analog output signals
- Status LEDs for power and drive status
- Standard models in both Panel Mount, PCB Mount (Z-Drives), and Vehicle Mount (M/V™ Series Motor Controllers)
- Four quadrant regenerative operation
- Extended Environment versions available (AZX series Z-Drives)
µZ Plug-In Drives
µZ’s are the smallest off-the-shelf servo drives from ADVANCED Motion Controls. Pronounced ‘Micro-Z’ these plug-in drives are designed for embedded applications in a wide range of industries including: Robotics, Lab Automation, Homeland Security/Military, Electric Mobility, Medical and Packaging.
µZ servo drives are designed to drive brushless and brushed DC motors at a high switching frequency. To increase system reliability and to reduce cabling costs, the drives are designed for direct integration into your PCB. Weighing in at less than 9 grams, µZ Drives output 10A peak and 5A continuous and operate with a bus voltage range of 10-36VDC.
Designed without the need for a heatsink, the µZ’s are true featherweights with a high power to weight ratio. The µZ’s are fully protected against over-voltage, under-voltage, over-current, over-heating, and short-circuits. Depending on the model, the drives interface with digital controllers that have analog ±10V or PWM/Direction commands. These servo drives require only a single unregulated isolated DC power supply, and are fully RoHS (Reduction of Hazardous Substances) compliant.
Features:
- Designed for direct board-to-board integration.
